🇷🇼 Rwanda / DRC Border · Volcanoes National Park
Gorillas in the Mist
Bucket-list rare11 DaysBusiness Class
"Fewer than 1,100 mountain gorillas exist on Earth. You will meet them face to face — 5 metres, 200kg, the most profound encounter in travel."

Track mountain gorillas on foot through mist-shrouded forest in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. Each permit allows one private hour with a wild gorilla family — juveniles tumbling through bamboo, a silverback watching you with calm authority. Cross into the DRC for the endangered golden monkey. Nyungwe's 70m canopy walk suspends you above Africa's oldest surviving forest. Rwanda is also the safest, cleanest, most efficiently run country in Africa.

Signature experiences
  • One private hour with a wild gorilla family — silverback at arm's reach
  • Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes NP — playful, dazzlingly rare primates
  • Optional: Nyiragongo volcano crater rim overnight, Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Nyungwe canopy walk at 70m — suspended above Africa's oldest rainforest
  • Kigali Genocide Memorial — profound, essential, deeply moving
  • Indigenous Batwa guide: ethnobotanical forest walk with the original forest people

🇳🇦 Namibia · Skeleton Coast & Sossusvlei
The World's Oldest Desert
Otherworldly12 DaysBusiness Class
"Shipwrecks in the desert. Lions that drink from the ocean. Dead trees that are 900 years old. Dunes higher than the Eiffel Tower."

The Namib is the world's oldest desert — 55 million years old. At Dead Vlei, camel thorn trees that died 900 years ago still stand, perfectly preserved in the arid air, their black silhouettes against ochre dunes and brilliant white clay creating the most surreal landscape on Earth. Fly over the Skeleton Coast in a private Cessna — rusted shipwrecks visible in the sand below. Track desert-adapted lions on foot. Visit a living Himba community. The lowest tourist density of any African safari destination.

Signature experiences
  • Private Cessna flight over Skeleton Coast — shipwrecks in red sand below
  • Desert-adapted lion tracking on foot through a haunting moonscape
  • Authentic Himba village visit — red-ochre community, genuine cultural access
  • Dead Vlei at dawn — 900-year-old trees in the world's most photographed landscape
  • Twyfelfontein ancient rock engravings — 6,000 years of San bushman art
  • NamibRand night drive — IDA-certified dark sky reserve, zero light pollution

🇪🇹 Ethiopia · Lalibela · Simien Mountains · Omo Valley
Ancient Ethiopia, Uncolonised
Hidden gem12 DaysBusiness Class
"The only African nation never colonised. Her 12th-century rock-hewn churches predate Notre Dame. Her Omo Valley tribes are among the most visually extraordinary on Earth."

Lalibela's 11 churches were carved downward into living volcanic rock in the 12th century — still active places of Orthodox Christian worship, still visited barefoot. The Omo Valley is home to the Mursi with their famous lip plates, the Hamar with their bull-jumping ceremonies, the Karo with their extraordinary body painting. The Simien Mountains shelter gelada baboons found nowhere else. And Ethiopian Airlines flies direct from Singapore with one of the continent's best business class products.

Signature experiences
  • Lalibela churches at dawn — private Orthodox priest as personal guide
  • Omo Valley — Mursi lip-plate women, Hamar bull-jumping ceremony
  • Source of the Blue Nile — stand where Egypt's great river is born
  • Danakil Depression: Earth's hottest place, sulphur springs, alien salt flats
  • Gelada baboon trek at 3,600m — bleeding-heart primates in highland mist
  • Traditional coffee ceremony at origin — Ethiopia invented this ritual

🇿🇲 Zambia · South Luangwa · Zambezi · Victoria Falls
Africa on Foot
World's finest walking safari11 DaysBusiness Class
"Zambia invented the walking safari. No vehicles — just you, a professional tracker reading the bush in silence, and raw Africa at human scale."

The South Luangwa Valley is considered by many experts to be the greatest game reserve on Earth. Walking with a professional Zambia Parks Service tracker is a completely different experience from vehicle-based safaris — you move at the pace of the bush, reading spoor, pausing when the wind shifts, standing motionless as a lion passes 30 metres away. The Lower Zambezi canoe safari has hippos surfacing beside your boat. Victoria Falls closes the journey with a private helicopter and a swim at Devil's Pool — on the very lip of the world's largest waterfall.

Signature experiences
  • Walking safari with ex-ZPS tracker — read spoor, smell lion, feel Africa
  • Night game drive — hyena hunts, civets, nightjars, aardvark at spotlight
  • Victoria Falls — private helicopter + Devil's Pool edge swim (seasonal)
  • Canoe safari on the Zambezi — hippos surface inches from your canoe
  • Sleep in a treehouse camp above a floodlit waterhole — nocturnal theatre
  • African wild dog territory — rarest large predator on the continent

🇲🇬 Madagascar · Andasibe · Morondava · Nosy Be
Nowhere Else on Earth
90% endemic wildlife12 DaysBusiness Class
"Madagascar broke away from Africa 165 million years ago and evolved in isolation. 90% of its wildlife exists nowhere else. Including baobab trees older than the pyramids."

The Avenue of the Baobabs at golden hour — 800-year-old giants silhouetted against a blood-orange sky — is one of the most extraordinary images in Africa. But it's the biodiversity that defines Madagascar: the indri lemur's haunting call at dawn is the loudest sound in the jungle; chameleons and mouse lemurs emerge at night in forest that existed before humans did; Tsingy de Bemaraha's limestone karst looks like no other landscape on Earth. And Nosy Be's coral reefs remain largely untouched, with whale sharks from May to September.

Signature experiences
  • Indri lemur call at dawn — loudest sound in the jungle, hauntingly beautiful
  • Avenue of the Baobabs at golden hour — 800-year-old trees, virtually no crowds
  • Night walk: chameleons, geckos, mouse lemurs and the elusive fossa
  • Private dhow snorkel on Nosy Be — whale shark encounters May–September
  • Tsingy de Bemaraha — harness traverse through alien limestone pinnacles
  • Ploughshare tortoise encounter — one of the world's rarest reptiles

🇧🇼 Botswana · Okavango Delta · Chobe · Khwai
The Ultimate Safari
Bucket-list defining10 DaysBusiness Class
"The world's largest inland delta floods every year, turning Kalahari desert into a paradise of channels, islands and wildlife. Arrive by light aircraft. Leave by mokoro canoe."

Chiefs Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta is accessible only by light aircraft or boat — no roads, no mass tourism, just one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The Okavango is also the only place on Earth where you can watch the Big Five from a dugout mokoro canoe. Chobe National Park hosts up to 50,000 elephants — the largest concentration on the continent. Botswana also offers the most consistently luxurious camp infrastructure in Africa, making it the ideal first — or defining — Africa experience for the discerning traveller.

Signature experiences
  • Mokoro canoe glide through lily channels at dawn — hippos surfacing beside you
  • African wild dog pack hunt — rarest and most endangered large predator
  • Fly-in to Chiefs Island — no roads, private bush aircraft access only
  • Sleep on a raised deck as hippos graze 20 metres from your bed
  • Chobe elephant river crossing at sunset — hundreds crossing in a single movement
  • Horseback safari in Khwai — approach wildlife at eye level, on horseback
